Girls Night In - Osteoporosis: Symptoms, Treatment and Prevention

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH), will host an annual “women only” event on Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the CMH Community Rooms, located at 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar.

The event is open to women of all ages and will feature Mark Jarek, M.D., board-certified rheumatologist speaking on “Osteoporosis: Symptoms, Treatment and Prevention.”  The event will also offer appetizers and door prizes.

“Girls Night In gives women a night off from their busy lives,” says Dr. Jarek.  “It’s an evening dedicated to women so they can learn to take better care of themselves, fellowship with one another and have a lot of fun.  We want you to come with your gal pals and have a great night out! ”

Dr. Jarek is in practice at CMH Rheumatology Clinic in Bolivar.  He attended medical school at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and completed a rheumatology fellowship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colo.  Dr. Jarek is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Cost for the event is $5 per person at the door and limited edition Girls Night In T-shirts will be available for $12 each.  Space is limited and reservations are requested.  For more information or to make a reservation visit citizensmemorial.com or call the CMH Event Line at 417-328-7247.
