For all this and more, join us at the Villanova Theatre Open House.  Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet current students, faculty and staff of the Villanova Theatre Department and attend our production of BIG LOVE for FREE!* Attendees will also have their application fee waived.

Following the Open House, prospective students are invited to attend the 2pm performance of  BIG LOVE, directed by Theatre Department Professor and professional director Harriet Power.

 

 

Tickets to the show are complimentary, but they must be reserved in advance to guarantee your spot.  Seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Villanova's Master of Arts degree in theatre is one of the only M.A. program in the United States that places equal emphasis on scholarly and creative work.  

 

Students undergo a rigorous course of study that is a combination of academic, aesthetic and practical approaches to theatre.  Students matriculate into the program from a wide variety of undergraduate majors, spanning the humanities and the sciences.  

 

Villanova now offers a Master of Arts in Theatre with a certificate in Nonprofit Management as well as funded summer internships with the Abbey Theatre in Ireland.  

 

Competitive, merit-based assistantships & scholarships are available for full-time students. Current teachers & educators are eligible for reduced tuition ratesStudents may choose full- or part-time study.   

 

We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2015.
