Wednesday, June 5:

• 3-5 p.m. Opening session, consisting of registration, exhibitor showcase and student poster session.
• 5-6 p.m. Keynote address
• 6:30-8:30 p.m. Reception and Film Screening of "Chasing Ice," Lake Placid Center for the Arts

 Thursday, June 6:

Full day that includes:
• 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. General Session featuring Clean Energy Success Stories from across the Adirondack North Country region: ReEnergy, Casella, North Country School, and Village of Medina. (Coffee break at 10:15 a.m.)
• 12:15-2 p.m. Buffet lunch and exhibitor showcase
• 2-4 p.m. Track sessions in Solar, Wind, Biomass, Conservation/Efficiency New Buildings, Conservation/Efficiency Existing Buildings, Hydroelectric, Biodigesters, Transmission, and Special Topics.
• 4-6 p.m. Reception and exhibitor showcase

Friday, June 7:

Full day that includes:
• 8:30-10:30 a.m. Track sessions in Solar, Wind, Biomass, Conservation/Efficiency New Buildings, Conservation/Efficiency Existing Buildings, Hydroelectric, Biodigesters, Transmission, and Special Topics.
• 11 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Roundtable discussion in the follow focus areas: Schools, Municipalities, Community Based Virtual Net Metering, and Cleaner, Greener Communities.
• 12:15-1:30 p.m. Buffet lunch, close out remarks, exhibitor showcase, networking
• 1:30-3 p.m. Roundtables continue as needed, exhibitor showcase

 Conference objectives:

  • Share techniques, technology and lessons learned as related to clean energy projects in the North Country
  • Assist participants in identifying potential projects for inclusion in the next round of proposals in the NY State Cleaner/Greener Program and/or the Regional Economic Development programs
  • Share technical staffing and regulatory issues as related to clean energy projects
  • Share funding sources and opportunities for clean energy projects
  • Connect participants with the businesses, educational institutions, and not-for-profit organizations on the cutting edge of the clean energy transition through the all new exhibitor showcase and business-focused round tables
