A Battle of the Brews
Since 1999, Yakima Chief - Hopunion, Brewing News Publications and Three Floyds Brewing Company, have been scouring the country for the best hop-laden beers in the land. Each year, a team of brewers and veteran beer writers test the vigor of each year’s hoppy findings and crown a new Alpha King, deeming his/her beer to be the holy grail of well-balanced and drinkable, yet highly-hopped ales.

While many will contend, only one will win the crown.
Alpha King is a Battle of the Brews!

Rules of Engagement

• All beer must be brewed by, and available for purchase through, a commercial brewery
• Maximum 2 entries per licensed brewery
• No Barley Wines
• Suggested minimum 60 IBUs

Instructions

• Register online via www.hopunion.com beginning Monday, August 10, 2015.  
• Registration will be limited to 150 entries.
  
• Once your enrollment has been confirmed, please ship either bottles/cans: 5 x 12 oz, 4 x 16 oz, or 3 x 22 oz (no growlers) and one copy of your registration confirmation to:

Shipments will only be accepted between September 9th - September 16th, 2015.
Please do not hand carry or ship any entries to Rock Bottom.
Late entries may be disqualified.
