The Island's Creative Escape is proud to present...
Saturday, June 4th
12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Cost: $55
Galateia was depicted in ancient art as a beautiful woman riding side-saddle on the back of a sea-monster or fish-tailed god. Her name means "goddess of calm seas".
You don't have to be a fan of Greek mythology, you could simply love mermaids and all things nautical. I just really loved the idea that this book was found buried in a chest beneath the sea and holds all things near and dear to the goddess Galatea. Ever the romantic here...
What to expect from this project. Using heavy chipboard as our book covers, we will build detailed layers with clay, molding paste, sandy pastes, seashells and what ever goodies you wish to include! We will explore Finnabair Patina Pastes and Waxes, Cut and Embellish our book pages and walk away with a fabulous Nautical themed scrapbook, journal or diary. Our pages and embellishments are inspired from the latest Prima release, the St. Tropaz line! It goes without saying that this project is absolutely delightful, and you'll walk away completely smitten with all of Prima's offerings!
