Join with others from Covenant as we put faith into action during Covenant Acts Weekend! Volunteer at one of the "God's Work, Our Hands" service opportunities on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24. More details of each event on registration page. Register here or sign up at church.
Donations are currently being accepted in the church lobby for two of the service activities we will be supporting: Houston Northwest Community Center and Cy-Fair Helping Hands.
The HNwCC's food bank serves those in need in our local community. We are collecting pinto beans and white rice in bulk sizes for HNwCC. We are also collecting hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrush, soaps, razors, feminine hygiene, shampoo, shaving cream - prefer regular size items) for distribution by Cy-Fair Helping Hands. The hygiene kits are distributed to local high school counselors who give them to teens in need of those basics.
You can also make a financial donations towards these items. Checks should be made out to Covenant Lutheran, with Covenant Acts in the memo line.
