A Caregiver's Guide to Self-Care Workshop

Preparing for the Inevitable Hurts Avoiding Compassion Fatigue is an Essential

Compassion Fatigue is experiencing an extreme state of tension while caring for loved ones. As we anticipate the inevitable, we anticipate grief.  When a caregiver does not practice self-care and stress management, the effects are experienced physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.

Day after day a Caregiver experiences their loved one slipping further and further away.  They consistently live in conflict, their hearts divided, one side a small ray of hope, the other side anticipation of the inevitable – the death of their loved one.

This workshop is intended to help Caregivers’ learn ways to balance stress, gain an understanding of the term ‘new normal’ and find some peace while on their journey. BUT, most importantly, it is intended to awaken a Caregivers’ awareness about the importance of SELF CARE.
