Who Should Attend:
School of Better Heating is for heating professionals that focus on hydronic system design, system installation, replacements, or troubleshooting. This program covers the entire hydronic system, so regardless of your experience level, you’ll find the tools, technology, ideas, strategies, and best practices for success. This event is for those who want to keep up with the evolving needs of existing and new hydronic systems. 

Course Objectives:
Day 1: Foundations of Hydronic System Design
The individual will obtain foundational hydronics knowledge within the general application of cast iron boilers and system design including: heat loss calculation, boiler/pipe/circulator sizing, venting, electricity as it pertains to hydronics, troubleshooting controls and components and much more.

Learners will apply newly developed skills and knowledge through hands on troubleshooting and group activities.

Day 2: Fundamentals of Hydronic System Design
The individual will obtain fundamental knowledge on the design of high efficiency condensing, single boiler systems including: multi-temp with radiant, zoning with pumps and/or valves, heat exchanger design, expansion tank sizing, combustion theory, water chemistry, boiler controls and much more.

Learners will apply newly developed skills and knowledge through hands on troubleshooting and group activities.

Day 3: Advanced Hydronic System Design
The individual will obtain advanced knowledge on multiple boiler system design including: hybrid system, venting, controls, load matching demands, startup & combustions, boiler/system controls, connectivity, and much more.

Learners will apply newly developed skills and knowledge through hands on troubleshooting and group activities.
