Steve Maguire   a summer staff workshop hosted by Rhode Island Association of Camps (RIAC)

Join us for an engaging and amazing workshop with Steve Maguire!

Steve will be presenting two different sessions hosted by RIAC!

The afternoon session is from  3-5pm and is only for RIAC Member camps and is geared towards staff with staff supervision responsibilities.  This will be a smaller group that will get some great pointers and guidance on how to not only supervise but inspire staff to be their best and give our campers their best!  The fee for this workshop includes pizza dinner.  When registering look for the add on items.

The evening session is from 6-9pm open to any camps and is geared towards counselors.  The workship will focus on frontline tools to give campers an amazing experience.  Steve covers the following topics with your staff . . . goal setting, effective communication with kids, staff and parents, tone and body language interpretation, how to work with difficult campers/staff, team dynamics, team building, safety, customer service, excellent teaching pedagogy, the magic of working at camp.  

Steve is an engaging and energizing speaker that will keep the staff moving and engaged and get them fully fired up to have the best summers of their camper's lives!
