Parenting on the Same Page
with
Social Dynamix Founder, Carol Feldman Bass

It's not always easy to present a unified approach to parenting your child on the autism spectrum.  Many of the parents we talk to tell us they disagree with their spouse about what their child needs and blame each other.  Other co-parents tell us they disagree about what a child is capable of.  Sometimes one parent thinks the other parent is too strict-or too lenient.  But all parents want to do what's best for their children.  Let AANE help you get on the same page with each other.

Join Carol Feldman Bass, founder of Social Dynamix, for a unique and interactive workshop that will help parents recognize their own and their partner's parenting style; learn to appreciate the strengths and perspectives each of you bring to parenting; and learn to communicate and work well with your partner or co-parent.

The issues to be explored will be drawn directly from the audience and the experiences that they have had with their child and with one another.  Couples will have the opportunity to play through parenting conflicts from their perspective and that of their spouse / co-parent.  In so doing, each will develop a better appreciation for the other permitting the couple to "be on the same page".
