Tutoring English Language Learners

In this workshop we will focus on our work with multilingual students learning English. Our goals are to further our understanding of what language learning feels like from the students' perspective, and then to practice concrete strategies to use during tutoring.

The training will be held at the SPPS Headquarters at 360 S Colborne St. Parking is available in the lot in front of the building. Enter the building at the main entrance. The training will be held in rooms J and K. Signs will be posted to indicate the room.

Light snacks will be provided but please feel free to bring your own food as needed.
