Two Heads are Better Than One presented by Brittany Gardner and Kelly McConkie Stewart
In the summer of 2016, I was feeling overwhelmed by the demands of running a large studio and balancing that with my role as a mother of school-age children. To mitigate the feeling of being spread too thin, I approached one of my colleagues with the idea of combining our studios for group classes, and sharing the teaching load. What started out as a way to balance busy schedules became a meaningful cross-studio collaboration that has enriched our teaching and our students’ growth. This session will cover the how’s, why’s, and what’s of successful cross-studio collaboration.
Preparing for Orchestral Playing (Harp) presented by Elizabeth Clark
