Facilitated by Tom Ott
Our program theme for 2023 is Courageous Listening. Each month we will be offering one event on listening to your emotions. This month's topic is grief.
Grief is the experience we have in moments of profound disorientation. It is the realization that a way of life that was once normal and familiar to us is now gone and cannot be recovered. Listening to our grief requires the courage to linger in that experience of disorientation, not to rush forward but to acknowledge that we don’t know the way. Being immobilized by grief isn’t a symptom of spiritual malaise or psychopathology, but a necessary step before coming to a new orientation. Join us for a conversation exploring what can we learn by listening courageously to our grief.
