At Lumunos, we are not poetry experts. But we use poetry a lot because we find that it helps us slow down and then get to the heart of the matter quickly. Each month a different facilitator will lead us in a session using a favorite poet or poem to help us reflect and connect with each other. Whether you are a poetry lover, or poetry challenged, we think you will enjoy our new Poet of the Month Series.

In October, join us for a session focused on the poetry of 2022 poet laureate Ada Limón. The session will be led by Betsy Brink from Norwell, MA. Literature is Betsy’s comfort zone, but she reads poetry she finds accessible (that is, not too obscure) as a way to get quiet. Ada Limón is a new find, introduced in a recent sermon at Betsy’s church, and she looks forward to exploring Limón’s poetry together.
