Giving Up Cheetos for Lent:
Practicing the Practices that Open us to the Sacred
Facilitated by Doug Wysockey-Johnson
Join us for this Lenten version of PT for the Soul. We will engage in and talk about different spiritual practices that deepen our spiritual life in this sacred season.
Lumunos’ theme this year is “Get Well-Stay Well: Lighting the Path to Well-Being.” There are many paths to well-being, but three have been at the heart of our mission for a long time:
Connect: Finding places of belonging and deepening our relationships.
Reflect: Spiritual practices and other renewal activities to help us deepen self understanding and our understanding of God.
Engage: Finding ways to make the world a better place—through our work, our volunteer opportunities, and our commitment to the common good.
In these pandemic times, we need resources to help us be more resilient—to get well and stay well. We will talk through various resiliency and spiritual tools, and practice doing them in real time. Meeting on Friday gives you the chance to unwind from your week, and practice these tools during the weekend.
