PLT PreK-8 Workshop, Mercer Botanic Gardens, Humble, TX 

Enjoy a day of hands-on activities that will help you teach students how to think, not what to think about complex environmental issues. Our goal is for you to leave feeling equipped to take children outside, connect them with nature, and develop their understanding and appreciation of the natural world.

Partticipants will receive PLT's interdisciplinary, TEKS-correlated Environmental Education Activity Guide for PreK-8, containing 96 activities that can easily be integrated into lesson plans or events. Workshops are open to all adults who work with youth in formal or nonformal settings. Six hours of SBEC CEUs and 6 hours of TEEAC credit will be given.

Registration fees are typically $50, however this workshop is being offered free of charge under the EPA and NAAEE's ee360 grant partnership.
