Making Our Voices Heard in D.C.

We NEED more cluster headache research and more effective medical treatments!  Clusterbusters will be in Washington with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy  to meet with congressional leaders on March 26 - 27, 2012.  Together we will push for senate hearings on the need for increased funding for headache research. 

  Three Ways That YOU Can Make a Difference!

Bring awareness to cluster headaches and help influence our representatives in D.C. by taking a minute to sign the Alliance For Headache Disorders Advocacy petition!  To bring the most attention to our disorder, be sure to make a short comment next to your signature specifically mentioning CLUSTER HEADACHE in all CAPS.  The more people that sign, the greater impact we will make! 

2. JOIN OUR ADVOCACY TEAM IN WASHINGTON

Make YOUR voice heard!   We need people from as many states as possible to join us in D.C.. Do you think we need more reasearch and better treatment options for cluster headaches? We are inviting people with a with a story to tell and a passion for making a difference in the lives of cluster headache sufferers to join us in D.C..

Hurry!  Deadline to register to participate in "Headache on the Hill" is February 25, 1012!  This is to allow ample time to schedule appointments with congressmen and senators.

TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE - The Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy is offering one night of FREE lodging per participant.  In addition, a limited number of partial travel scholarships for the "Headache on the Hill" event are being made available to specifically get a cluster headache patient or support persons "voice" on the team to D.C.!   These sponsorships are through Clusterbusters, with the help and the generosity of O.U.C.H. and individual donors to assist with: 

• Transportation expenses - fuel, airfare, bus, taxi
• Lodging - if you are in need of lodging in addition to the one free night offered by the Alliance
• Meals
