Mark Jones Bio
Mark began his practice of Yoga at age 42. Immediately upon seeing his 77-year old mother - who had been practicing yoga for over 30 years - swoop ease-fully into a full forward bend to pick up a kitten. "I remember committing at that moment to whatever it would take to earn such gracefulness at 77.'"
A trained ballet dancer, he applied careful attention to alignment while studying the classical yoga poses, resulting in a personal yoga style that combines a joy of movement with the strength of stillness.
This naturally evolved into teaching. "I needed a way to share these valuable, timeless lessons of perspective, patience and respect to help others de-stress from today's pressures, haste and anxieties!"
Mark received his 200-hour level Brahmrishi Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 2009. He seeks unique teaching opportunities to continue sharing Yoga's myriad health, mental and spiritual gifts with others. Look for him soon teaching "live" interactive classes via the internet! Beginning July 5th, you can use your purchased sessions for any Tuesday or Thursday Yoga session in July, August or September!
By purchasing sessions, purchaser agrees to the following:

I hereby expressly release, discharge and hold harmless from any liability whatsoever, Gervasi Vineyard, the various branches and subdivisions thereof, and all employees and volunteers in their capacities as representatives of Gervasi Vineyard, expressly including, but not limited to, the owners of Gervasi Vineyard, except for injuries caused intentionally, or by willful misconduct. I certify that I am familiar with the contents of this release, that I have read and understand the same, and that it is my intention that by purchasing tickets, this release that the same be binding not only on me, but my heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assigns. I understand that Gervasi Vineyard is NOT responsible for personal property lost or stolen while members and/or program participants are using Gervasi Vineyard facilities or on Gervasi Vineyard premises.
