3 Day Oil Painting Workshop
July 13-15, 2015

Three days packed full of incredible paint along demos, jam session paint-arounds, and one-on-one easel time. Learn the beauty of using transparent oils to achieve luminosity in your work (say good-by to muddy colors!) and the secrets to achieving juicy color and lush brush work in your paintings. Learn to be fully engaged in the moment and to create your own momentum for turning out great art when you're back in your home studio!

P.S.  Paris is my home town -- where I live and work:) It is a small town (about 10,000) right in the middle of race horse country filled with breathtaking horse farms and lots of history. There are a couple of nice B & B’s in the area (The Treehouse and the Guesthouse at Rosecrest Farm). We also now have a vacation rental in Paris. The Ramada is “on the way”, which means just off I-75 and only about 12 minutes from the workshop driving through gorgeous horse country.  Even if you stay in downtown Lexington, Ky you are only about 20 minutes away from Paris (four lanes going right through the heart of some amazing horse farms). So feel free to look online as to the accommodations you feel best suit your taste and budget. You can find the links you need here.
