Who Should Attend?
Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cadiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovasuclar emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units.
Course Overview:
Instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. The course also covers airway management and related pharmacology.
Upon course completion, participants will be able to recognize and initiate early management of peri-arrest conditions, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), stroke, demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS care, recognize and manage respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and demonstrate effective communication of a resuscitation team.
