This training is for Childcare Program Directors

P
reventing Child Abuse and Neglect (PCAN) is an Early Care and Education project under the Zero to Three umbrella..  

This training is based on the philosophy of helping child care providers promote positive parenting and healthy social-emotional development in children by implementing protective factors into their program.

This training helps providers recognize the importance of their everyday interactions with parents and how to help prevent the risk of abuse and neglect in families with very young children. 

PCAN is 60 hours of training broken  into 3 units of training.  Unit 1 is 30 hours, Unit 2 is 18 hours & this class, Unit 3 is 12 hours of training.
