Join us for a follow up conversation with other city leaders to select representation on the open voting seat and two alternate seats on the Adams County Opioid Regional Council!

What Will Be Accomplished in this Session?

During this conversation, city leaders will:

  • Select city representation for the open voting and alternate city seats on the Adams County Regional Opioid Council

Who Should Attend?

City managers, mayors, police chiefs, council members, and/or designated decision makers from participating local governments are invited to be part of this conversation.

Each city will get one "vote", and they can send a proxy if needed to vote on their behalf

How Did This Conversation Come To Be?

On Wednesday July 20, municipal leaders met and determined:

  • The criteria and process for how open voting and alternate city seats on the Adams County Regional Opioid Council will be filled now and moving forward
  • The process cities will follow up ensire that voting members are representing the interests of all cities across the region

As a next step, city leaders agreed that an application for the open seats would be sent out with a quick turnaround time and they would reconvene ahead of the Regional Council meeting on August 12 to officially vote.
