Call to Action

Please join us for an information session on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM to learn more about an effort that is emerging through the ACYI Partnership to understand what employment looks like for youth after leaving school or receiving a post-secondary credential. It is critical to understand if young people are becoming employed at a wage that allows them to be self-sufficient.

The Adams County Workforce & Business Center, City and County of Broomfield, and Metro North Chamber of Commerce have teamed up through the ACYI Partnership to launch an effort to increase the number of young people ages 18-24 who are employed at a self-sufficient wage.

In Adams County, approximately 15,000 young people are not making a wage that allows them to afford their basic needs.

You have been identified as a key partner in this effort.

We will dive into the current state of youth employment in Adams County and collectively work to identify where opportunities exist in the community to improve systems for young people related to employment.

A baseline for Broomfield County is in the process of being developed.
