How to Get the Most Out of Campaign Volunteers

You’ve done the work of recruiting a strong pool of volunteers to assist you with your upcoming campaign. They’re committed. They’re excited. They’re ready to work.

Now what?

Utilizing the experience and expertise of your campaign volunteers in a way that doesn’t waste their time (or yours) can seem like a daunting task. In this webinar, our Gonser Gerber faculty will review the most effective ways to maximize your volunteers’ talents, skills and influence during your campaign that are time-tested and volunteer approved.

What We Cover

  • Using job descriptions to help refine expectations as you recruit volunteers
  • Defining the various roles volunteers can play effectively in a campaign
  • Structuring and planning meetings to make the best use of volunteers’ time
  • Training your volunteers to ensure their success
  • Building a strong partnership between volunteers and staff
  • Following up and staying in touch – methods and measures
  • When to let a volunteer do it on their own!

On Demand Details: After your registration, you will receive a copy of the power point presentation as well as a copy of the recording. (Please allow at least 48 business hours to receive your materials after payment is received.) You will be able to share these materials with your entire team, including volunteers, and review the recording as many times as you need.
