Due in large part to the political involvement of KDA members, the Kansas Dental Association has traditionally been very successful in the Kansas Legislature. This is a result of the friendships and acquaintances YOU have cultivated with your elected officials. Dental Day 2017 will be the time and place to build upon these relationships.

Dental Day 2017 has been designed to allow you the greatest ability to visit with Legislators and learn about the political process while only disrupting your own office a minimal amount time. You will begin the day by gathering at the Dillon House (immediately West of the Statehouse) for a briefing of the day’s events and issues. At that time, you will receive an issue paper with points to discuss with your Legislators. At 11:45 AM, you will return to Dillon House for a buffet lunch with your Legislators. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to continue your meetings with Legislators and attend the House Committee on Health and Human Services, and/or the Senate Committee on Public Health and Welfare.
