Habilitation -- A Model of Memory Care 

Mal Allard will discuss habilitation, a model of memory care developed in the ‘90s. Habilitation has produced significant, positive results both for care partners and those with dementia. Designed to optimize function by encouraging activities in which people with dementia can be successful, it promotes positive emotions and minimizes stress.
