The BAT Silverbacks are hosting tryouts for the 2018 Spring / Summer Season in for all Age Groups 9U thru 18U. Currently the teams are engaged in the Summer Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League, however, the league and division will be determined based on the makeup of the roster.

Travel Team Costs: Expect the fees to be between $2,800 - $3,400 that includes:

Winter Training, Spring Season (season or possibly tournaments only), Summer Season, Coaching / Training, Playoffs, and usually 2 tournaments per team in addtion to Spring/Summer seasons. Actual items will be discussed at a team parent meeting following tryouts and team acceptance.

Uniforms, umpire fees, field expenses, facility costs, baseballs, league fees, all included.

***12U Cooperstown Costs NOT INCLUDED***  Our coaching staff offers to coach this team for no additional fees, however the pass-thru expenses are paid for by the parents up-front and then reimbursed to parents up to amount spent based on fundraising, sponsorships, donations, advertising, etc... 

Parents must purchase independently plain white pants, purple belts and socks can be any color unless athlete wears pants high, then purple socks are required.

Being a Silverback means a commitment to improving and working hard.

The 2017 12U & 14U Silverbacks made a run at the B-Division Championship and the 12U represented well in Cooperstown All-Star Village, posting a Game 1 victory and competed in 6 of the 8 challenging games. 

We're now expanding into 9U up to 17U to offer a complete program from fundamental training at an early age all the way up to College Showcase teams. Our coaches and trainers all played at high levels in college or above, have certifications, and are able to translate knowledge to youth and adult athletes.

BAT Goals: To improve each player throughout the year and help them along their own "Personal Development Plan". While we enjoy winning more than losing, we value developing our players much more and we identify areas of weakness and strengths in order to accomplish mutual goals. We combine skills development with performance training to enhance overall abilities. Aside from playing on a team, other services are offered at a discount for our Silverbacks, which include group classes, camps, and individual sessions. These additional services have proven to show even more results.
