Alcohol & Other Drugs Awareness Course - Saturday, March 25, 2017 - 8 hour (1 Day) Class

 8 hour -  8 am to 4:30 pm

Registration Online, by Phone or Office. (Pre-registration is Required)

Please note: Additional pre-class paperwork must be completed prior to the start of the class at 8:00 am, so arrive a few minutes early.

This class is held on one day from 08:00 am until 4:30pm with a break for lunch. Certificate presented at the end of the day. This class is $125*.

A general overview of Alcohol, & other Drugs (Including prescription drugs) and the effects and consequences of their use. Students will learn about the different types of drugs and how they affect the human body. They learn of specific problems that being under the influence create and then what consequences follow such actions. Specific course topics include introduction to the Alcohol, & other Drugs  epidemic.  Alcohol & Drugs in the workplace, alcohol and traffic safety problems, Texas laws referring to  Alcohol and Drugs, DWI, effects of alcohol/drugs on humans, alcohol/drugs and driving task abilities, chemical dependency, symptoms of dependency, sources of assistance, costs of Alcohol and Drug use, and decision making.

* Some cases from other states may require additional paperwork and/or services in order to complete desired transaction. This could include additional forms, evaluations, screens or lab tests and may require additional services at additional costs. Clients are advised to contact the charging State to confirm what is required to complete the desired actions. While there may be additional charges depending on what all is required, in most cases, no additional charges are necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: All classes are subject to a pre-defined minimum. If a class does not meet the minimum, we will be forced to cancel. In the event that a class is cancelled, your registration will be automatically moved to the next similar time and date scheduled. If you have pre-paid and would desire to receive a refund and cancel your registration, please contact us as soon as possible.

 In the event of a class cancellation or if you must cancel, all cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours from class start time in order to receive refund.
