LOST - Hashbrowns, History & Hiking - Geological History of Superior 

Join us for Hashbrowns, History & Hiking at the Superior Chamber of Commerce. This unique fundraiser event will feature a hearty breakfast (full menu to be announced), with a presentation and discussion.  Followin the breakfast and discussion join our speaker and local guides on an interpretive hike on the LOST - Queen Creek Canyon segment.   The cost for the event is $20 per person, funds raised benefit the Legends of Superior Trails Inc.

How were Apache Leap and Picket Post mountains created?  Why is Copper found here?  How old are these geological formations?  These are all questions that will be answered by Dr. Steven Semken who is a Professor of Geology and Edcuation at Arizona State University.  Following his presentation, we will be taking a walk on the LOST - Queen Creek Canyon segment to learn more about these geological formations.
