OMA Sharing Fair 2012

Welcome to OMA’s 2012 Sharing Fair – fill your bag with great lesson ideas. Discover some clever tips to engage your group and enhance your classroom practice. Best of all… exchange, share and socialize with the company of other Montessorians.

OMA’s Sharing Fair offers …

Material Exchange: Start your day with our material exchange. Bring a basket or a tray in good condition, leave it on the exchange table and replace it with a new tray or basket from someone else. You can exchange equally with what you bring.

Lesson Displays: Peruse the different lesson displays by your own colleagues in the community. What a great way to get new ideas from each other! Each lesson will have a write-up for you to take back to school with you. Reduced admission for those bringing a displayed lesson with handouts. Simply contact OMA to let us know you'd like to bring a lesson and arrive early to set-up!

Speakers: Attend our breakout sessions, happening twice throughout the morning, discussing Responsibility and its relationship to Self-Esteem, and Non-Violent Communication in a Montessori setting. Visit with experienced colleagues to learn more about in-home Montessori programs, ask questions of fellow guides, and share ideas with fellow administrators.

Raffle: Finish the morning with a fun raffle. Our volunteers are collecting wonderful offerings to be given to lucky winners at the end of the fair.

Fees: Member with Display $15, Member without Display $25

Non-Member with Display $35, Non-Member without Display $45
