Farmland Access/Transfer Info Session

Join us for a FREE, interactive workshop designed for New Hampshire farmers seeking to better understand the options, resources and steps to accessing or transfering your farm or farmland.

New farmers and members of the agricultural community seeking to buy or lease land will connect with advisors that can answer questions about how to plan, evaluate and buy farm property, qualify for funding, understand conservation easements, owner financing options, and much more. Learn about:

  • Finding and evaluating farmland
  • Purchase, lease and financing options
  • Leasing or taking over a retiring farmer's operation
  • Expanding your network for increased knowledge, connection and profit.

We encourage both land seekers and land owners to attend to connect with one another and with the professionals who can help guide them in the process of land leasing, acquisition, and/or transfer.

Local refreshments will be served. Registration is required.

Professionals from: Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust, BCM Environmental & Land Law, Hvizda Team Keller Williams, Land For Good, NH Agricultural Mediation Program, NH Community Loan Fund, UNH Cooperative Extension, USDA Farm Service Agency, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Vital Communities, Yankee Farm Credit.

This event is supported in part by grants from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Thomas W. Haas Fund, and the Cedar Tree Foundation.
