The Throw Down Cornhole Tournament 2017

Enter Spencer Makenzie's Cornhole Tournament "The Throw Down", the largest cash cornhole tournament to hit the west coast. On Saturday & Sunday August 26 & 27, 2017 at our 8th annual End of Summer Block Party in Ventura California. All players who play will be competing for over $32,000 in cash payouts.

Saturday August 26, 2017 Day 1 - Cornhole Tournament
Check In: 9:00am - 10:00am
(must check-in if you didn't on Friday Night to play no exceptions)
Warm Ups: 10:00am - 11:30am
Team Placement: 11:30am
Tournament Starts: 12:15pm

Teams will be separated into 24 groups of 8 teams for round robin play. Each team will play 7 games in the round robin bracket to determine their placement for either the A or B bracket double elimination tournaments that will be held on day 2. The top 4 teams from each round robin will be placed in the A bracket and the bottom 4 will be placed in the B bracket. Each game in the round robins will have a 20 min time limit. At the end of the 20 min if a team has not won by reaching 21 the team with the higher score will be determined the winner. Teams have 5 min to report after they have been called for their match. Failure to report within the 5 min will result in disqualification for that match. We suggest each team pays attention to their respective groups.

Sunday August 27, 2017 Day 2 - Cornhole Tournament
Check In: 9:00am
Warm Ups: 9:00am - 9:45am
Team Placement: 9:30am
Tournament Starts: 10:00am
Championship Game B Bracket - 5:00pm
Championship Game A Bracket - 5:30pm

Teams will have been placed in either the A or B brackets.
Each bracket is a double elimination tournament and will consist of 96 teams. If a team is a no show or fails to report to their assigned set within the 5 min after being called they will take a loss for that match and be moved through the bracket accordingly. Again we suggest teams pay attention! Teams will advance through each bracket until a winner is determined.

** This is a non refundable event. Please feel free to bring your lawn chairs. No outside alcohol will be allowed on premises. ID’s will be checked for all alcohol wrist bands**
