High School Youth Convention

"He Lives in You"

The annual High School Convention is a wonderful way to bring youth together from across the diocese to share and experience the universality of our Catholic Faith. This year's convention includes workshops (participants will choose 2 workshops upon arrival) that are geared to help youth as they face the challenges of living a Christian life, as well as those that may enhance your Confirmation program.

The convention and Mass will be held at Bishop Connolly High School and Bishop da Cunha will celebrate the Mass.

All students in Grades 9-12 are invited to attend!

  The 2017 keynote speaker is Cooper Ray, a dynamic and light-hearted speaker and musician who shares his faith with honesty and passion. Through music, story, humor, and audience participation, Cooper leads groups of all ages to a greater awareness of who they are as Catholic Christians and how to recognize God's presence in their lives. He will have merchandise available for purchase at the convention.

The Youth Convention does not substitute for the parish Confirmation Retreat but can count toward regular class time and has workshops available that may enhance Confirmation programs.
