2017 PCEDC Annual Dinner

We will have a social hour, our annual business meeting, a lovely dinner by DKB Catering and an awards ceremony during which we will present the 2017 Pete Myrick Award to Sue Mackey Andrews complete with sentiments by our Federal and State Representatives.

Register Now! The Executive Committee of the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council (PCEDC) has named Representative Sue Mackey Andrews as the 15th Recipient of the Warren “Pete” Myrick Award.  Please come and help us celebrate all of her gracious time and commitment to Piscataquis county!

Sue exemplifies the criteria set by Pete Myrick, a Dover Foxcroft  resident, who was a longtime educator and founder of PCEDC. The criteria for this award includes overall impact of the accomplishments, the duration of the engagement in community service activities, and the breadth of community involvement.

The Executive Committee of the PCEDC presents the Myrick Award each year to recognize a Piscataquis County citizen, business, or organization who exemplifies Pete Myrick’s concern for and commitment to education, economic development, and/or civic leadership in the region. Myrick, A Guilford resident who died in 2002, was a longtime education in Guilford and a founder of PCEDC, serving as the Council’s president in 2001.
