General Membership Meeting #3 - Black & Gold Night w/ Chance to Win Saints Game Tix!

All dental professionals are welcome to attend this event.  During the Social Hour, you can enjoy your beverage of choice while you catch up with old friends and make new ones!  Don't forget to wear your fave Saints gear - all who do will have a chance to win 2 tickets to the October 15th game - Saints vs Lions!  The winner will be announced at the end of the meeting.

Prior to the educational portion of the program, there will be a brief membership update including announcements, news, new member applications, and miscellaneous association business. 

CE Program: "The Dental Team's Role in Recognizing Sleep Breathing Disorders"

Program  Objective:  Millions of Americans are affected by sleep apnea, yet many go undiagnosed. Of those who are diagnosed, common treatment is with a CPAP breathing apparatus worn during sleep. But more than half the people prescribed CPAP (up to 87% in some studies) are mask-intolerant and end up not using it. And without treatment, the risk of early death rises significantly.

There are a number of oral appliances that have proved effective in resolving sleep apnea and snoring without the use of the CPAP.  Dr. Moreau will share details about his own experience incorporating sleep appliance services in his practice and how his team contributes to the process.  

Following the presentation, Dr Moreau will invite questions from the audience.
