Keynote: Cheryl Young, Senior Economist, Trulia

*********

The conference will offer perspectives on how to address the Granite State’s affordable housing and economic development needs, as well as networking opportunities.

Our keynote speaker is Cheryl Young, a senior economist at Trulia, the online residential real estate website affiliated with Zillow. She will discuss how housing policy affects local housing markets and general housing trends, and offer insight on housing affordability and first-time homebuyer issues.

Also featured is Kol Peterson, the ADU guru, who will speak about how accessory dwelling units (aka mother-in-law apartments) can help homeowners and how they also expand the availability of housing in our communities. Peterson has helped catalyze the growth of ADUs in Portland, OR, and nationally through advocacy, education, policy work, and entrepreneurship. He is the author of Backdoor Revolution-The Definitive Guide to ADU Development.

Registration for this event is $60 and includes a full breakfast and parking.
Attendees may purchase a copy of Peterson's book for $10 (60% off the retail cost).
