Learn what donors want, need, feel, and think by researching your donor!

Dr. Kathy Fleck of Ohio Northern University will share innovative ways to connect with donors and how to do the research that reveals what your donors truly want! Dr. Fleck will share these strategies:

* Learn why research is so important
* Methods to effectively conduct research in-house
* Create a plan for research on a regular basis
* Know when it's worth the investment to hire a consultant

Dr. Fleck, APR, is an assistant professor in communication and media studies at Ohio Northern University and is the principal of KRF Consulting. She has a wide variety of experience in business, politics, government, non-profit and higher education. Kathy has published numerous articles and presented research at more than 23 regional, national and international conferences.

She has served on the board of the Educator's Academy for PRSA and is the immediate past chair of the Great Ideas for Teaching (G.I.F.T.) division of the Central States Communication Association. She also has served on the boards of FAME, Fort4Fitness, and the Allen County Public Library.
