Sponsorship Recruitment and Events

Join us for our February program when we focus on the "in's" and "out's" of event sponsorship. Our expert panel will include: Brad Kimmel (Fort4Fitness), Rachel Burkholder & Audrey Ehle (Erin's House) and Erin Arnold (Turnstone). This panel's expertise runs the entire gamut from athletic events to extravagant fundraising galas.

Presenter Bios:

Brad Kimmel, Fort4Fitness

Brad Kimmel is dedicated to strengthening communities and has served on initiatives including Fort-4-Fitness; City of Ft Wayne North River Task Force; The ASH Centre; the World Baseball Academy; and Ft Wayne Blue Print Plus Commission.

In 2007, Kimmel founded the Academy of Sports and Health (ASH) Centre initiative, creating a campus-like setting for service organizations to collaborate effectively.  Shared facility and operational programs allows those using the Centre to focus on their core mission and outreach; expand their services; and be more efficient stewards of funds.  As one of the founders of the Fort4Fitness Festival, Kimmel has led the efforts to educate and encourage people to develop healthier lifestyles.  Over 12,000 people participated in Fort4Fitness events in 2014.

Erin Arnold, Turnstone

Erin Arnold has been the Special Events Coordinator for Turnstone for the past three years, assisting the organization in raising over $1.2 million so far. Along with her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue, Erin routinely calls on her more than nine years’ worth of event planning experience to deliver excellence every time.

Rachel Burkholder and Audrey Ehle, Erin's House for Grieving Children

Rachel Burkholder joined the staff of Erin’s House for Grieving Children in 2012 as the Marketing/Donor Relations Director. Rachel’s experience includes 10 years of corporate training and communications with Lincoln Financial and two years of service as a Public Relations Liaison for Guardian Angel Hospice. She loves to share mission-based stories through awareness campaigns, constructing well-designed collateral, and she has a knack for making new friends.

Audrey Ehle is the Special Events & Donor Relations Director at Erin’s House for Grieving in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this capacity, Audrey works with internal and external parties to initiate, plan, and execute fundraising events.  Her year –long project is planning Wine for the Spirit, a benefit auction, that raised nearly $270,000 for Erin’s House this past October.
