Customizing your Workshop

Mosaic has an established track record in offering engaging online workshops on The Essentials of Results based Management and Theory of Change to varied audiences in the North and South.  We have also customized workshops for various organizations with small and large staff teams. Six sessions are currently part of the RBM repertoire:  RBM Essentials, The Logic Model, Performance Measurement Framework, The Theory of Change, Risk and Results-based Reporting. Clients may choose all six or individual sessions depending on their needs.  The customized workshop can be geared for all levels of learners - from beginners, those with a basic understanding of RBM to those who are more advanced.

Together we will have an opportunity to reflect on the challenges & opportunities of COVID-19 & Climate Change for your programme.  You will also learn how to use new online technologies to work in teams remotely in a participatory and inclusive way.

This workshop is designed for staff:

• Decision-makers who want to refresh & deepen their understanding of RBM & the Theory of Change and boost their strategies and skills to adapt their RBM systems, make critical decisions on organizational policy, resource allocations,  and move forward in terms of sustainable development and the SDGs.  

• Programme and Project Officers & Managers who work with different stakeholder groups at government, intermediary or community levels and apply RBM on an ongoing basis, mentor or train others on RBM applications, and are involved in project design, monitoring and evaluation;

• Staff who want to broaden their repertoire of RBM tools & methods and retool using online platforms that are participatory and interactive

Your organization will also be introduced to new online remote software (e.g. ZOOM, Kinaki (https://www.kinaki.ca/), Jamboard, and/or google docs among others) that you will use in your group work and that you can continue to use in your workplace. 

The hands-on, participatory and practical approach used by Mosaic in its face-to-face workshops will also be embedded in this remote workshop  to ensure that you learn by doing and that the training is practical and ready to use in the workplace.

Workshop Agenda

This remote online workshop is organized with a 2.5 hour orientation sessions + six  3.5 hour sessions which go from 9:00-12:30 AM EST or 12:30 PM EST-16:00 PM EST (New York time) with the exception of the Orientation Session  which lasts 2.5 hours.   Sessions may be recorded to allow for people to reinforce their learning or take in the recording as needed. The workshop uses a secure Zoom platform (password protected) and other online platforms (e.g.  Kinaki or Google docs among others) to ensure sessions are interactive and practical.

The following describes the Preworshop Orientation and six sessions.  Organizations may select all or different sessions that typically involve some customization of the content depending on organizational needs.
