Our Presenters:
Dr. Jeffrey Sachse, Labor Market Analyst, WI Department of Workforce Development
Working within the Office of Economic Advisors since October 2009, Dr. Sachse serves seventeen counties of the Bay and Fox Valley Workforce Development Areas. Previously, he served as the regional economist for south-eastern Wisconsin from 2001 to 2007. In addition to his duties with DWD, Dr. Sachse is also a member of the faculty at UW-Oshkosh and has taught at a number of colleges and universities in Wisconsin and New York. Dr. Sachse is active with a number of regional chambers of commerce as well as the New North and has published and presented research on a number of economic and workforce development topics. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Marquette University, his Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from UW-Madison and his Ph.D. from UW-Milwaukee.
Helen Englebert, Economic & Workforce Development, Moraine Park Technical College
Helen Englebert has devoted the major part of her career to the field of human resources and career management services. As part of Moraine Park’s Economic and Workforce Development, Helen partners with organizations to provide solutions that drive organizational performance aligned to business strategy. For fifteen years, Helen worked as a career consultant for Lee Hecht Harrison, a global talent management firm. In her previous roles in human resource management and organizational development, Helen’s major responsibilities included talent assessment and development, recruitment, and labor relations. Helen holds a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute. She is the State Leadership Director for the Wisconsin Council-Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Helen is also involved with the New North Business and Education Partnership.
