Student Forum Meetings are intended for those students at UCSC-Extension who are enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Program and for members of the Financial Planning Association (any chapter).
These meetings are not open to the public.

Transitioning into the Financial Services Business

Meeting Description

As students we generally are in the position of imagining what steps we should be taking outside of the classroom to transition into a Financial Services career, especially once we’ve completed the Personal Financial Planning program. Although this process is unique for each individual making that transition, hearing how others have successfully made that transition could be helpful in planning your transition. Please join us to hear how the panelists are making, or have made their transition, in particular how they investigated opportunities, developed contacts, and made the specific choices they made. This will be an informal session, with time for specific questions from attendees. At the end of the session, there will be time for smaller informal group discussions with the panelists, and other attendees.

Feel free to bring an established financial professional with you to this meeting!
