Meeting Description

The presentation will cover resources and strategies for medical coverage options post retirement. Mr. Eckmann will also discuss how to navigate through individual plans, Covered California, group plans and the positive outlook for Medicare (i.e. open enrollment periods, special enrollment periods, penalties, networks, and regional networks), with an emphasis on seamless transitions from one type of coverage to another.

Speaker Biography

Allan S. Eckmann is a product of Chicago, where he attended the University of Illinois. Allan has been selling insurance for 42 years and is the founder of BayCrest Insurance Services and has held a position as part-time lobbyist for CAHU (California Association of Health Underwriters) and NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters) in advocating Long Term Care (LTC) and Health Insurance.
