October 2015 Brown Bag Meeting

Communications and Compliance Considerations in the Age of Social Media

Speaker:   Marcos Lira, CFP®, EA, Founder and Principal of 360Dividends

Meeting Description

The new buzz is "digital strategies"; Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, blogs, e-newletter, and other platforms to facilitate new and improved ways of communication. Colorful, clear, and concise emails are especially popular among millennials. Younger clients want and need something different than what their parents and grandparents expect.  How do you engage with your younger clients?  How do they expect you to engage with them?   And,  the more important question is:  How are you presenting yourself to this audience?  How are you making yourself relevant?  And, when using these new forms of communication, what is the impact to your firm's compliance process? What is stored, and how?   Here is an opportunity to hear from Marcos Lira, CFP®, EA, Financial Planner and Tax Expert for Millennials.     Marcos will discuss the various tools and applications that he uses, and which he finds most useful in developing lasting relationships with his clients.  Come with your questions, and join the discussion.
