Safety at Sea Seminar & AMVER Awards

NAMEPA is pleased to welcome Vice Commandant Steven Poulin and RDML Wayne Arguin of the United States Coast Guard, as well as the American Club’s Joe Hughes- Chairman of NAMEPA and INTERMEPA- along with Diana Shipping’s CEO Semiramis Paliou- Chairman of HELMEPA and Vice Chairman of INTERMEPA- as we examine the importance of collaboration in Safety at Sea.

As the acceleration of change in shipping progresses, we will be hearing from the USCG as to what safety issues are of greatest concern to them, learn the safety properties of fuels being examined to support decarbonization efforts, reducing risks of new operational practices, and strategies for improving the lives of mariners at sea.

Vice Commandant Steven Poulin of the United States Coast Guard will also be presenting the AMVER Awards for industry voluntarism and commitment to Safety at Sea.
