Vivaldi at Casa Rondeña

Be transported to eighteenth century Venice by the sumptuous music of Vivaldi with soprano Claire Syroid, violinist Brad Jones and pianist Darby Fegan.

Join us for some lite bites & wine
in the Barrel Room from 6:30-7:00pm...
Concert at 7:00pm in the Great Hall!

The Venetian Carnival

is a tradition that began in Venice in the 12th Century and continues to this day. There was a brief 150 year break when the religious powers that be figured out everyone was having way too much fun...the official complaint from that quarter had something to do with 'licentious behavior'--how fabulous!  But, I think the authorities relaxed and now are completely on board with celebrating worldly pleasures complete with mask on face and wine in hand.

Celebrating worldly pleasures is exactly what we will do on
February 10th...

So dust off your most beautiful dress, or
fabulous mask--add a cape, add a hat,
& come dressed to the nines!

Dancers will complete the experience with elaborate dress and masks. Wine will flow, music will soar and celebrations will begin!

The concert will be performed in the Great Hall at Casa Rondena, a place supremely evocative of another time and place...

Don't scrimp & don't be shy--now is not the time...
Let's make Venice & Vivaldi proud!
