MountainStride 2015 

MountainStride will take place on Saturday, May 9th at Bar-T Mountainside in Urbana, Maryland.  The event will feature both a timed cross country race (approximately 4K in distance) and an un-timed 1K fun run for kids 10 years of age and under. 

• The cross country course was designed for the inaugural race in 2013 by Lightning Running Club's Cross Country Head Coach Darcy Strouse, Ph. D.
• A portion of the MountainStride proceeds will go towards funding Bar-T's partnership with the Frederick Department of Social Services.  This partnership provides summer camp opportunities for elementary age kids in DSS programs and weekend overnight retreats for their teenage counterparts.
