QuickBooks is a very popular small business accounting software. QuickBooks allows any business to easily keep track of their finances. Learning to input your financial information correctly will give you access to meaningful charts and reports which will allow you to see where the money is going.
Description:
We will begin our discussion with accounting basics, bookkeeping and accounting tasks, a short course in financial management and getting started with QuickBooks. We will continue with QuickBooks topics such as - how to invoice, receive payments and make deposits. We’ll enter bills, print checks, void checks and do manual checks, do journal entries, enter credit card charges, set up a petty cash account, set up a loan, customize the chart of accounts and reconcile bank accounts. |

Deborah Majic, principal of Deborah Majic CPA, P.C., has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience. She has a diverse client base of small businesses, non-profit organizations, trusts and individuals with complex tax and compliance issues.
As a QuickBooks Advisor, she helps business clients to setup their specific chart of accounts and to establish business procedures to effectively utilize QuickBooks to produce accurate and meaningful operational and financial reports.
Deborah received a B.S. degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University and an accounting degree from Northwestern University. She is a licensed certified public accountant. She was also the owner and chef of a popular Chicago based restaurant, Café Figaro. |
