Understanding Cloud Services - May 28, 2014 

Overview: 

“The Cloud” is an often used term that is rarely understood.  This workshop will help you understand cloud services and provide a framework for you to evaluate “the cloud” as a fit for your business.

Description:

The workshop will be a 10 – 15 minute presentation on understanding cloud services followed by a 30 minute Q&A.  We will ask for one to three volunteers to participate in creating a case study.  There will be a 15 minute break where we work with the volunteers to gather information for the case study.  Then in the last hour we will walk through the specific cloud services case studies with the entire group.

Erin is the IT person to call when you have business IT questions.  Erin has worked as an IT professional for over 12 years.  In her 12+ year career in corporate IT she led datacenter build-outs, managed global technology deployments, and led teams implementing complex technology solutions.  Erin is the owner and lead technician at Simply Smart Technology, an IT firm focusing on providing support for small businesses
