Here we are once again opening the farm for our annual shearing day event. Our sheep once again loose their woolly coats in preparation for the warm months ahead.
Bring your picnic blankets or your lawn chairs, enjoy the sheep, llama's and chickens and the great outdoors. The shearing of the sheep will take place all day long so don't worry about being "on time" but do plan to join us for another one of our fabulous lunches.
The shearing will begin at 10 a.m. and continue through 4:30pm, only to break for lunch.
For those of you interested, lunch will be served between 12:30 and 1p.m. We're featuring empanadas (vegitarian options too) from Ines Bakery in Gibsonville again. They were a hit! We'll have all the sides, beverages and dessert...each year we hear rave reviews! Lunch is available for an additional fee.
We're charging a nominal entrance fee, just to cover our costs. As if the day didn't include enough fun, this year we've added a band, The Stoney Creek Mountain Boys. The entrance fee is redeemable toward purchases from our farm store!
We've got some great activities for the kids this year too!
If you could register, we'd appreciate it! It helps us plan for the day.
We hope to see you again, or we'd love to see you for the first time!
