Digital Image Specs

Submit 4-6 digital images via Dropbox (invite: wkracassistant@telus.net) or mail a CD / DVD / USB flash drive. Do NOT send images as email attachments.

Images may be of: your work, you working in your studio, your venue or your organizations activities.

Images count! Appealing images can make the public choose to visit your location over others when they are planning their route.

When taking pics of artwork, it is best to have a plain background with no distracting colours/lines or textures. When taking pics of people, it is generally more interesting if they are doing something, rather than standing and staring straight at the camera.

Images should be approx 4-6” (1200-1800 pixels) wide at 300 dpi. The images can be any height proportional to that width. The image should be submitted as a jpg, in 24-bit true colour or 8-bit gray scale for black & white images or RGB color.

NOTE: Images less than 300 dpi (or ppi) are not print quality and may reproduce poorly. They cannot be used for posters, postcards, ads, or be submitted to newspapers. You can check the resolution in the image properties (R click, select "properties", select "details")

Image Names

When re-naming your images on the computer, use the following format for the filename:
